The peach is one of the best kinds of fruit and most representative of summer and the cultivation sites used by La Pernice are some of the most well-known in the world. The peach tree (Prunus Persica) originates in China where it has been cultivated for the past 5,000 years and is a symbol of long life and immortality. The tree is very resilient and able to withstand temperatures that can vary from -18° to over 40°.

SAGITTARIA®

Medium to large-sized fruit, average weight is 170 g. It has a rounded and symmetrical shape. The base skin colour is yellow but it is covered 90-100% with a red overtone. The pulp is yellow with red streaks. The harvest/marketing period lasts from May 25 until June 10.

PLAGOLD 17®

A rounded-flattened fruit, with a 95% red blush on skin. The base colour is a light yellow. The pulp is very compact, yellow in colour with a fibrous texture. The fruit weighs about 130 g, has a good flavour and sugary content. The harvest/marketing period lasts from June 25 until July 10.

SUMMER RICH®

Yellow pulp variety, characterised by a very compact texture. Excellent quality, productivity and colouring. The form is oblate, slightly tomentose. Yellow colouring with dark red overtones. Excellent gustatory characteristics. The harvest/marketing period lasts from July 15 until July 30.
